Update, Take 2 or 3

Right, been a long time since I've posted on this blog, so happy new year and all that.

Onto the update: I actually do have some things to post up here eventually, and I have been playing in a WFRP 2nd edition campaign, first as an Agitator who lost his arm, then a slightly insane rat catcher who stuck trophies of everything he killed on his rat catcher's pole. Since then, I have moved onto GMing the campaign, which is quite entertaining. It's been a long time since I've done that.

Not much else to report, just did some changes to my profile (though I'm sure you're all fascinated by this.....), and, on a non-gaming note, some friends and I have just started thinking about starting a hardcore/screamo band, which, if it gets off the ground, should be fun.

I've also started to get back into writing, so this blog should see some more writing whenever I have something to put up.

Gaming!

Just a quick update: finally managing to get some gaming in with WFRP 2nd edition. I'm not gming, and (for the first time in any WFRP game I've played) I'm a rat catcher. With trophies from all my kills stuck on my rat catcher pole. Fear Gaston the Man-Slayer (and his aliases, the Black Raven, Georges Guynemere, and Count Louis de Ath. See what I did there?)

Book of Vile Randomness

Hey, just a quick note that Ian from Magician's Manse is creating a free book of random tables if you are interested. I have already submitted my old d100 chart of character backgrounds.

Well, as the title of this post suggests, I'm feeling sort of, well, 'blah' about roleplaying right now, which stems from the fact that I haven't bought anything new, and I haven't gamed for about a year now (and no, I don't mean from the start of this year,I mean for 365 days of not gaming, possibly a bit longer), so I;m not really sure how the blog's going to work.

If I get a cool idea, or get something from rolling on random tables, I'll post it on here. Otherwise, this blog is probably going to be a bit out, although I will continue reading, and commenting on, other blogs.

So, hopefully this blog will still chug along, though even slower than it is right now.

Sorry and Quick Update

So, sorry I have not posted in a while, as I've been busy moving, having brothers over for Christmas, going down to Melbourne, etc.

Anyway, just a quick update that now I'm more settled in, I should be able to post on this sad little blog more than before.

Well, I shall hopefully be sticking to this : )

Update

Well, looks like I just might get a game going again. Of course, at this point, I still don't know whether we will be playing Traveller, Advanced Fighting Fantasy, some edition of D&D, Rolemaster: The Basics, or T&T.

While I love T&T and D&D, I'm hoping the players will choose one of the others because, much to my annoyance, I've never actually been able to play any of the others.

With regards to the Grand Universe, I've almost got an entire sector mapped out.

So yeah, will most probably post more soonish. : )

In the meantime, enjoy this awesome painting that just screams adventure and chivalry to me.

Just a note

Just a quick note to say that I revised the d100 background chart to get rid of #92 a slave, as there was already a slave, so I fixed it up to be a demonicist. If you want to know what that is, just have a quick look at the bottom of the post, where I put a footnote.

A decision and other news

Well, because I always start millions of projects and then never follow up on them, I've decided to set myself a minimum of two posts a week on this blog, even if it is about something totally random.

And, on another note, I'm going to be going on holiday to Melbourne soon, just for a few days to catch up with some friends and one of my brothers, so I most probably will be posting even less for a short time.
